  • The agreement defines the right to use the software.
  • User materials remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Academy CanLup identifies a software product. Rights in original code, design and brand elements belong to the respective rights holders. Permission to use the software is granted within the agreed terms; paying for access does not purchase exclusive rights or source code.

Rights in materials added by the customer or participants remain with their rights holders. The terms of use describe permission to process and host those materials. Inclusion in a workspace does not make material public or freely redistributable.

Academy uses third-party components under different licensing terms. Copyright and licence notices remain in force, and the relevant licences apply independently of the service terms. This overview describes major groups and does not replace the inventory for a particular distribution.

  • MIT: Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Better Auth, TipTap, ProseMirror, Motion, Cytoscape, Sentry, unpdf, Vitest, Vite, Storybook and supporting libraries.
  • Apache-2.0: TypeScript, Prisma, SheetJS and some Rust/WASM components.
  • Paper Design Shaders React 0.0.76: PolyForm Shield 1.0.0, including restrictions on competing uses. This is a separate licence, not Apache-2.0; its terms must be assessed for the particular use and distribution.
  • BSD-2-Clause, BSD-3-Clause and ISC: Mammoth, Lucide and certain transitive components.
  • SIL Open Font License 1.1: Lora, Inter and other distributed fonts where stated in their metadata.

The component inventory depends on the version and distribution: web application, extension or desktop client. When distributing software components, the provider must retain required licence texts, author information and other mandatory notices in the corresponding distribution. This page’s general list does not replace them.
